Palm Desert Barnes & Noble at Westfield Mall is holding its annual Holiday Book Drive, giving customers an opportunity to donate books to Coachella Valley BookPALS and SafeHouse of the Desert through Jan. 1.
“The Holiday Book Drive is one of our most popular community partnerships,” said Sarah DiFrancesco, director of community relations for Palm Desert Barnes & Noble. “Our booksellers and customers get to share the pure joy of giving a book to a child in need.”
The Coachella Valley BookPALS — sponsored by the Palm Springs Women in Film and Television — donates to nearly 2,000 students in 10 schools from one end of the valley to the other.
