Certified Farmers Market Palm Desert

Certified Farmers Market

We bring local farmers and vendors together to showcase the fruits of their labor for you. A Certified Farmers Market is approved and certified by the California Department of Food and Agriculture.

Every WEDNESDAY from  8:00 AM TO 12:30 PM Through June 24th

New Wednesday Evening Certified Farmers Market in Palm Desert. Market to Run from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on First Wednesday of Every Month.

Certified Farmers Market

The new first-of-the-month Wednesday Evening Certified Farmers’ Market will have many of the same farms and specialty vendors that come to the regular Wednesday morning market, but there are also new farmers, plus new home-based food businesses and food vendors. We’ll also have entertainment, special events, chef demonstrations, music and more!

Live farm animals, antique farm equipment, community non-profit booths, activity/health booths – as well as additional food options for folks who want to join us for dinner.

The Certified Farmers’ Markets are the Coachella Valley’s only State and County Certified Farmers’ Markets. That means all the fruits, vegetables, meats and other products that are on sale at the markets have been grown on California Certified farms. In addition, almost all the farms are located within a 90 mile radius of the markets (thus reducing the carbon footprint), and many of the products sold are “USDA Certified Organic.”

Certified Farmers Market

The Certified Farmers Markets are sponsored by the Palm Springs Cultural Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which was established to encourage the development of the cultural arts in the Coachella Valley with a specific focus in the areas of film, fine art, live performance, dance, music, and community festivals. The Center is dedicated to advancing education, to nurturing community-wide participation in the cultural arts, and to sponsoring scholarship awards for deserving individuals.
