Fashion Week El Paseo

Fashion Week El Paseo

Fashion Week El Paseo 2016 presents runway shows featuring top couture designers such as Monique Lhuillier, Zandra Rhodes, Marc Bouwer, Michael Costello and the Stars of Project Runway, the El Paseo Runway show, FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising graduating student collections, and Le Chien Couture, benefiting the Humane Society of the Desert.

Dubbed the “Rodeo Drive of the Desert,” El Paseo is Palm Desert’s premier shopping destination year-round – but during Fashion Week El Paseo, you can also rub elbows with couture clothing designers, renowned interior decorators, swimwear stylists and up-and-coming talent in the fashion field.

Susan Stein, fashion editor of Palm Springs Life, producer of Fashion Week El Paseo. “Attendees of all ages return each year because of the unique experience they receive while connecting directly with a compelling group of designers from contemporary to couture. Cutting-edge designers constantly strive to feature their collections at our events because it provides them with an opportunity to interact with attendees particularly at their trunk shows.”

Held this year from April 2 to 9 in a new location—on the West Side Upper Level of the parking deck at The Gardens on El Paseo in Palm Desert—this, the largest fashion show on the West Coast, is not just about runway extravaganzas featuring the oeuvre of such haute designers as Monique Lhuillier, Zandra Rhodes, Marc Bouwer, and Michael Costello plus work of the Stars of Project Runway and Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising graduating students.

There’s also trunk shows, in-store events, parties, and Le Chien—a K9 couture presentation benefiting the Humane Society of the Desert. Other charities during the week include The Girlfriend Factor and The Junior League of Palm Springs Desert Communities. Mark your calendars now, as you will not want to miss the glitz and glamour of the largest fashion show on the West Coast.
