Where an aging Shopping Center with mostly vacant shops once stood; you’ll now find a whole lot of dirt with a New Rancho Las Palmas Shopping Center rising.
Paragon Commercial Group won the contract to help bring the city of Rancho Mirage into the future with new public plazas, outside patios and electric vehicle charging stations. Anchoring the space will be Stein Mart, Hobby Lobby, a CVS drive thru pharmacy & specialty food market along with a mix of about 30-35 other tenants.
“On behalf of the City of Rancho Mirage, we are very excited to see the Rancho Las Palmas Shopping Center come back to life,” says the city’s Mayor Pro Tem, Ted Weill. “The corner of Bob Hope and Highway 111 is the second highest traffic count in the Valley and is the commercial window into our city. Our residents will enjoy the shopping experience of the new stores and dining in a new restaurant. The center will also make a significant sales tax contribution to the general fund.”
The project is expected to be completed between June 2016 and January 2017, with CVS and Stein Mart opening in the first phase followed by Hobby Lobby. Read More
