Join the Citywide celebration that takes place the first weekend of each month from November through May. Includes extended shopping hours along El Paseo; art gallery events and artists receptions; dining events; Cruise Night El Paseo on Friday; FREE First Friday events including beer sampling from Babe’s Bar-B-Que and Brewhouse and concerts in the Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden; concerts at the McCallum Theatre.

The cars begin arriving on the upper
level of The Gardens on El Paseo at 3:00pm. Everyone is welcome – come and view the cars and meet the owners. At 4:15pm we will have a few announcements and introduce our Guest MC for the evening. 4:30pm – time to Cruise!
Saturday Swing ‘N Hops Street Party
Swing N’ Hops Street Party is a free featured event in Palm Desert’s First Weekend in February. This outdoor event brings together swing music performed by a live band, craft beer gardens, gourmet food booths, a classic car show with cars from the 1920s – 1940s, a swing dance party complete with instruction and era specific fashion. Everyone is invited to Swing N’ Hops Street Party From noon until 4pm Located on El Paseo between san Pablo and Larkspur February 6th from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
