The Palm Desert City Council approved the conceptual design for the city’s $11.2 million dollar aquatic center. The project will now go out to bid , which the city expects will take 18 months. When complete, the new aquatic center will include an Olympic-size competitive pool and a smaller recreational pool at the north east corner of the civic center park.
