Southwest Arts Festival

Attracting artists and attendees from all over the world, the Southwest Arts Festival has grown from its humble roots as a small art affaire in 1986 to become one of the largest – and most acclaimed – art festivals in the country. This renowned festival of the arts now features more than 250 artists coming together to show off traditional, contemporary and abstract works of art and handmade crafts at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Celebrating its 28th Anniversary, the Southwest Arts Festival® will once again be held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio California, a Coachella Valley landmark, featuring the desert’s natural landscape and sweeping mountain ranges.

“We are excited to host the Southwest Arts Festival at the picturesque grounds of the Empire Polo Club again this year. The world renowned venue is the perfect location to showcase the exemplary artwork of our fine artists from around the country,” says Joyce Donaldson, President/CEO of the Indio Chamber Commerce.
