As Sunnylands marks its 50th anniversary this season, we also celebrate the centennial birthday of one of Walter and Leonore Annenberg’s closest friends and neighbors, Frank Sinatra. The legendary crooner with 65 movie acting credits to his name – and one Academy Award – stars in our free three-part Sunnylands Films on the Great Lawn series in partnership with the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

Friday, October 2 — High Society, starring Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, and Frank Sinatra, is the 1955 musical romantic comedy about second chances in love.

Friday, October 9 — From Here to Eternity is a 1953 drama/romance starring Frank Sinatra and centers on an army unit in Hawaii in the early 1940’s.

Film goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and small picnics but are reminded that no large coolers are allowed at Sunnylands. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Pets are not permitted. Sunnylands is a smoke-free environment

October 2nd, Doors Open at 6:30.  Admission is Free.
