The 2013 Southwest Arts Festival kicks-off on Friday, January 25 running through Sunday, January 26 at the beautiful Empire Polo Club in Indio.
Artists will be showcasing and selling their work in the following categories: Clay, Drawing, Glass, Jewelry, Metal Works, Painting, Photography, Printmaking and “Other Arts.” “We have a very diverse group of artists this year, including a number of new artists who have not participated in the Southwest Arts Festival before.
Attracting artists and attendees from all over the world, the festival has grown from its humble roots as a small art affaire in 1986 to become one of the largest – and most acclaimed – art festivals in the country. This renowned festival of the arts now features more than 250 artists coming together to show off traditional, contemporary and abstract works of art and handmade crafts at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
In addition to the art, there is a full schedule of entertainment on all three days and a variety of food offerings in the outdoor café area.
