The Coachella Valley LOVES to celebrate, and the Fourth of July is one of the best! Grab a friend, a chair and a blanket and join the fun! Here are some of the best places to watch Fourth of July Fireworks in 2023.
PALM SPRINGS
July 1 – 4 Various Locations
Fireworks start at 9:00 p.m. | Palm Springs Stadium
July 1 – 7:00 – 8:30 Tribute to the Eagles Concert in the Park adjacent to the Forever Marilyn Statue
July 2 – Dive in Movie at the Palm Springs Swim Center. Featuring the film, “In the Heights”
July 3 – 7:30 p.m. Movie Night at Ruth Hardy Park. Featuring “A League of Their Own”
July 4th you have choices where you want to watch fireworks. Starting at 3:00 at the Palm Springs Swim Center, watch the fireworks from the pool. Or, grab a baseball game and fireworks at the Palm Springs Stadium where he Palm Springs POWER take on the PSCL All Stars. Gates open at 4:30 and first pitch is at 6:00. Then the gates open at 9:00 for a Firework Extravaganza. Plan on arriving early, the stadium is always packed for this event.
CATHEDRAL CITY
Pre-Party July 1 & 2 | Starting at 7:00 p.m. – Midnight
Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City
The Agave Caliente Terraza venue will be transformed into a Roller Skating Rink for this 2 day event. Enjoy Food, DJ Music, Hot Dog Eating Contest and Roller Skating.
RANCHO MIRAGE
July 4th starting at 7:00 p.m. Fireworks at 9:00 p.m.
Agua Caliente Casino
An epic celebration at the Rancho Mirage Agua Caliente Casino with DJ’s, prize giveaways, promotions and Dining specials.
For Fireworks, the “Drive in Experience” is something you’ll want to plan for. The first 700 vehicles to arrive at the South Dirt Lot adjacent to the Casino will enjoy an epic firework display starting at 9:00 with live music simulcast from The Eagle 106.9. Parking opens at 3:00 arrive early, this event is always packed.
PALM DESERT
July 4th Starting at 7:30 – 9:00 p.m.
Civic Center Park
Grab a friend, bring a blanket and a chair to enjoy the night. Start your Fourth of July Celebration at the Civic Center Park in Palm Desert with Tasty Treats from a variety of Food Trucks. The evening starts with a free concert of pop favorites, then at 9:00 enjoy a 20 minute fireworks display synchronized to patriotic themed music simulcast on local radio stations. Parking at the civic center park fills up quickly, there is more parking and a shuttle service available from The Gardens.
INDIO
July 3rd – Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino
9:00 p.m. Eagle Falls Golf Course
Celebrate Independence Day with a Fireworks Display on Monday, July 3rd at the Eagle Falls Golf Course. Enjoy a synchronized soundtrack courtesy of BIG 106 FM radio. Come early to grab a good spot, bring a blanket and folding chair.
